Ogni tavola è realizzata interamente a mano su tavoletta grafica, con l’uso di pennelli digitali che simulano la densità dell’olio e la grana del carboncino.
La luce, protagonista silenziosa, modella i volti e le architetture del borgo di Alfedena, luogo reale e simbolico in cui l’artista vive e lavora.
Sul fondo, il castello di Alfedena domina le scene come testimone immobile e misterioso, ponte tra mito e memoria, tra realtà e immaginazione.

In this exclusive series, G.Karloff pays homage to the great archetypes of classic horror cinema, reinterpreting them through his distinctive digital poetics.
Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Wolfman, and The Vampire are reborn in a new artistic dimension that fuses traditional painting and digital technique, cinematic light, and contemporary sensitivity.

Each artwork is entirely hand-painted on a digital tablet, using digital brushes that emulate the density of oil paint and the texture of charcoal.
Light, the silent protagonist, shapes the faces and the stone architecture of the village of Alfedena, a real and symbolic place where the artist lives and works.
In the background, the castle of Alfedena stands as a mysterious and immovable witness — a bridge between myth and memory, between reality and imagination.

The four figures embody a reflection on diversity and on the soul of the “monster” as a mirror of humanity:

Frankenstein, a tragic and melancholic figure, symbol of the solitude created by mankind itself.
The Mummy, guardian of time and memory, wrapped in a blue silence that evokes eternity.
