The “Aufidena Animals” collection by G.Karloff is an ironic and affectionate tribute to the wildlife of the Apennines and to the village of Alfedena, a symbolic and inspiring place for the artist.
Through his distinctive and vibrant style, G.Karloff transforms the wild animals of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park into the protagonists of a colorful, character-filled parallel world.

The deer, bear, wolf, fox, badger, and boar become urban icons with pop charm. Wearing caps, sunglasses, golden chains, and holding cocktails or books, they embody a playful contrast between nature and modernity.
Behind them stands the castle of Alfedena, a symbol of identity and continuity, a silent guardian of a land where memory meets irony.
